There are moments in life when the weight is too heavy.
The doors don’t open.
The answers don’t come.
The storm doesn’t pass as quickly as you prayed it would.
And in those moments, it’s easy to ask:
“Where is God?”
But maybe the better question is:
“What is God doing that I can’t yet see?”
You’re Not Meant to Handle It All Alone
We live in a world that praises independence.
"Be strong."
"Figure it out."
"Don’t rely on anyone."
But God never asked you to carry everything on your own. In fact, the moments when life breaks you open are often the ones where God steps in the strongest.
“And whoever is mindful of Allah (God), He will make a way out for them,”
“and provide for them from sources they could never imagine. And whoever puts their trust in Allah, then He ˹alone˺ is sufficient for them. Certainly Allah achieves His Will. Allah has already set a destiny for everything.” — Surah Talaq 65:2-3
He doesn’t say, “Fix yourself and then come to Me.”
He says, “Come to Me as you are.” Confused. Tired. Hurt. Empty.
God Sees What You Can’t
You see the setback — God sees the setup.
You see the closed door — God sees the one He’s opening that leads to something better.
You see your weakness — God sees the space where His strength will be made perfect.
God operates beyond time, beyond logic, beyond your current understanding. What looks like silence is often preparation. What looks like chaos is often construction.
