Episode: 3 - The Locus of Control

A blog made for the deep thinkers, for those who want clarity amidst the chaos, who’s looking for peace among the showoffs, and for those who prefer authenticity over fake applause.

There’s a silent enemy within us. One that whispers “It’s not your fault.”
At first, it sounds comforting. It makes you feel understood, even justified. But slowly, it eats away your power, your growth, and your future.
That enemy is the Victim Mindset, a subtle, psychological trap that keeps you stuck in cycles of blame and helplessness while convincing you that you’re right.

The Comfort of Blame

When life gets hard, the easiest thing to do is point outward.
“My boss doesn’t appreciate me.”
“My family never supported me.”
“I wasn’t born with privilege.”

And while some of these might be true, constantly leaning on them becomes a habit. One that rewires your brain to expect failure.
Psychology calls this learned helplessness, when your mind stops looking for solutions because it’s been trained to believe nothing will ever change.
It’s a mental prison disguised as protection.

But here’s the truth: as long as you stay the victim, life stays the villain.
