Chapter 1
Life of Mind
“Life is all about living inside our mind while we try to escape our thoughts trying to live our dreams.”
What crosses your thoughts when you think about the word mind, “You might think about a space where your thoughts live. A place where you think, re-think and over-think the events of your life. You might realize at a stage in your life that you have spent almost your whole life inside your mind. No matter what you do, small or big you think. You think about so many aspects, pre, during, and post-results. Your reactions to a certain event are also linked to your thoughts.
As you have to live inside your mind, you need to keep your thoughts organized so that it doesn’t jumble your spatial space called mind. The reason behind keeping your mind clean and fluent is so much needed to keep your life go according to plan. You might have heard, “A sound mind lives in a sound body.” To stay happy and healthy, you need a sound mind. A mind that is able to clarify the things you do, or plan to do in days ahead.
With a sound mind, a man can make the best out of his life. The goals he sets, the memories he cherishes, and the dreams he nurtures can be turned into reality when he can adopt his mind and body at the same pace. If you look around you will see so many broken people, who knows certain things in their lives but are unable to accept them and move on. This happens as their mind and thoughts run with a different speed at which they can’t cope with. Resulting in a bad life. It’s their choice; choice because they can either accept it and move to the next chapter or they can stay stuck and rethink the events that shook them.
At the same time, a man with a good mind can handle such situations more easily than the previously mentioned man. It’s because he is aware of the facts that his life depends on the decisions he make, not on what others did to him or something that is haunting him. He simply accepts the fact and keeps pushing himself to growth. He is ready to move on to the next chapter. But, it doesn’t signify that he isn’t hurt, or he forgot everything.
Yes of course, he is hurt and the memories are hurting him, but he chooses to ignore his recurring thoughts and could prioritize the important ones that would lead to his recovery and success.
The root of the mind is so deep that it has control in every aspect of your life. But, you shouldn’t forget, that you are in charge of everything about yourself. Your mind is your power. The way you use your mind sets the pace and tone of your life, spiritually, personally, and socially.
It’s never too late to focus on what’s important, and your mind should be one of the top priorities of your life.
