There comes a point where giving more doesn’t make you more appreciated.
You give your time.
Your attention.
Your patience.
Your understanding.
You remember the little things. You show up when they need you. You make excuses for them when they don’t show up for you.
And somehow, it still isn’t enough.
So you give a little more.
Perhaps this time they’ll notice.
Perhaps this time they’ll understand what you’ve been trying to give them.
Perhaps this time they’ll finally value you.
But some people don’t realize the value of something while they have unlimited access to it.
They simply get used to it.
